Ever since he was a child, he always had musical and artistical influences coming from his family. Born and raised in Florianópolis, he started tap studies in 2003 with professor Bia Mattar. He traveled to several places reaching for new knowledge in tap dancing, being part of great national tap festivals – Floripa Tap, Tap in Rio, Brasil International Tap Festival – and internationals – DC Tap Festival, LA Tap Festival, Chicago Human Rhythm Project, Stockholm Tap Festival, Dubrovnik Tap Festival; always participating on cutting contests, showcases and jam sessions. He was the first person to represent Brazil at IDO World Tap Dance Championship, He competed in various contests in Santa Catarina (Southern Brazil), where he got prizes including “Best Performer”. Currently teaches in dancing schools and also performs in shows in hotels and resorts in the city, like “The Magical Circus” and “Varietè Costão”. He coordenates the experimental group “IEA1”, a group of tap dancers that study improvisation, body and technique, searching for new concepts and languages to their tap performances. Also develops coreographic pieces with Mila Spigolon (Duo Flesh).
